Early life acetaminophen exposure, Glutathione S-Transferase genes and development of adolescent asthma in a high-risk birth cohort: Our findings strengthen the evidence implicating acetaminophen as a possible cause for asthma and reduced lung function, particularly in those with susceptible genetic polymorphisms. Further research is needed before altering guidelines on acetaminophen use.
