Dihydroouabain, a novel radiosensitizer for cervical cancer identified by automated high-throughput screening: Cervical cancer is now the fourth major cause of death among female cancer patients. Between 2012 and 2018, the number of deaths from cervical cancer reported worldwide increased from 265,700 to 311,000, and the incidence of newly diagnosed cases of cervical cancer increased from 527,600 to 570,000 [1,2].
