[Clinical Picture] Oesophageal necrosis and pneumomediastinum: always examine x-rays assiduously: A 69-year-old woman who was obese presented to our emergency department with breathlessness after episodic vomiting and diarrhoea that had started the night before. She also reported right-sided pleuritic chest pain radiating to the back. She had a medical history of hyperlipidaemia and recurrent urinary tract infections.
