Generation of Mosaic Mammary Organoids by Differential Trypsinization
The mammary gland is a bilayered structure, comprising outer myoepithelial and inner luminal epithelial cells. Presented is a protocol to prepare organoids using differential trypsinization. This efficient method allows researchers to separately manipulate these two cell types to explore questions concerning their roles in mammary gland form and function.

Diagnosis and Management of pituitary disease with focus on the role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Abstract Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging is an essential tool in the diagnosis and management of pituitary diseases, indispensable for making correct treatment decisions. Successful management and follow-up of pituitary pathology requires an understanding of the MR appearance of normal and abnormal structures in the sellar region. This review will describe the MR appearance of the normal and abnormal pituitary gland and proposes an algorithm for the management strategy of some...

An update on familial nonmedullary thyroid cancer
Abstract Familial nonmedullary thyroid cancer (FNMTC) constitutes 3–9% of all thyroid cancer cases. FNMTC is divided into two groups: syndromic and nonsyndromic. Nonsyndromic FNMTC is more common as compared with syndromic FNMTC. In syndromic FNMTC, patients are at risk of nonmedullary thyroid cancer (NMTC) and other tumors, and the susceptibility genes are known. In nonsyndromic FNMTC, NMTC is the major feature of the disease and occurs in isolation with an autosomal dominant...

Bacterial vaginosis, representation of endocervical and/or metaplastic cells, and cytological abnormalities in different age groups: Association study
Abstract Background Studies have indicated that bacterial vaginosis (BV) might be a cofactor for the acquisition and persistence of high‐risk papillomavirus, enabling the development of cytological abnormalities. The presence of endocervical and metaplastic cells makes the smear more adequate for the detection of these abnormalities once these cell types are representative of the transformation zone, a site of increased susceptibility to viral infection. Methods The purpose of this...

Dual specificity phosphatase 6 plays a critical role in the maintenance of a cancer stem‐like cell phenotype in human endometrial cancer
The prognosis of patients with high‐grade or advanced‐stage endometrial cancer remains poor. As cancer stem‐like cells (CSCs) are thought to be associated with endometrial cancers, it is essential to investigate the molecular mechanisms that regulate endometrial CSCs. Dual specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6) functions as a negative‐feedback regulator of MAPK–ERK1/2 signaling, but its role in endometrial cancer remains unknown. We investigated whether DUSP6 is involved in cancer cell stemness using...

Intratumoral heterogeneity and genetic characteristics of prostate cancer
Abstract Prostate cancer is a heterogeneous disease and optimum gene targeting treatment is often impermissible. We aim to determine the intratumoral genomic heterogeneity of prostate cancer and explore candidate genes for targeted therapy. Exome sequencing was performed on 37 samples from 16 patients with prostate cancer. Somatic variant analysis, copy number variant (CNV) analysis, clonal evolution analysis and variant spectrum analysis were used to study the intratumoral genomic heterogeneity...
